What's this?

I started this project when I discovered that another queer dance party was happening on the same night as the one I co-run (Girl Germs.) There are so many DIY events being run around the UK by like-minded people, and so few Friday and Saturday nights in a month, it seemed like a good idea to create this resource for promoters and attendees. I'm hoping people will use it when booking their nights with venues, to try to avoid as many clashes as possible. And people looking for dance parties and gigs where they can feel safe, will be able to see what's on and where on any given night. I've done it all pretty quickly, so it's a little scrappy and ugly at the moment. I'll try to smarten it up in time. The main thing I need, is for people to send me their events and spread the word. This calendar will only be useful if it's updated with enough nights and information. I also need feedback and advice, so that this is as user friendly as possible.
